1. Following complete connection of gas circuits, power supplies, and all circuits, the machine is set for trial operation. Begin by testing the dynamics of the upper and lower beams, sheet stacking, paper counting unit, blowers, and motors at low speed to ensure flawless functionality.
2. Begin operating the machine in a gentle, slow motion for a duration exceeding 10 minutes. As you do so, gradually increase its pace. During this initial phase, be attentive to all components of the machine, listening closely for any unusual noises such as metal crashes or knocks. Proceed by incrementally accelerating its speed, ensuring each increment does not surpass 10% of the machine's rated speed. Continue this process until the machine reaches its fully rated speed.
3. Initiate by closing the paper pushing and counting section, then open the paper feeding section, folding section, and pre-pressing section. Proceed to methodically test the smoothness and precision of the folding process. Ensure each section aligns with folding accuracy standards before increasing the pace gradually. Remember, the machine's operating speed should remain within its rated limits, only accelerating once all sections are functioning optimally.
4. Commence the gradual operation of the entire machine, testing functions such as paper alignment, counting, and pushing to achieve the designated positions as outlined above. It is imperative to sustain the machine's longevity by maintaining its operational speed within the rated limit.
5. The steps outlined in points 1 through 4 describe the initial test run methodology. Post this primary test, should there be a need to switch box types, simply initiate the machine and fine-tune the folding box at a low speed to conform to specified size requirements.
Maintenance and Lubrication of the Machine
Preventive measures take precedence over maintenance, and routine maintenance outweighs the necessity for repairs. To ensure seamless production and extend the machine's operational life, diligently adhere to the maintenance protocols detailed in this chapter.
1. Maintenance and Lubrication of Guide Rail
A. Thoroughly clean any oil or dust from the surfaces of the moving guide rail and roller. Apply an appropriate amount of engine oil (32#) to maintain cleanliness and prevent direct dry friction, ensuring there is always lubricating oil between the guide rail and roller.
B. Remove oil stains from the traversing chute surface and apply grease (Mobil MP) for optimal lubrication.
C. Ensure each bearing is well-lubricated by adding Mobil MP lubricating oil.
2. Maintenance and Lubrication of Sprocket and Gear
A. Clean the sprocket and chain surfaces of any greasy dirt, then apply grease (Mobil MP) to maintain their function smoothly.
B. For gears and gear sets, remove oil stains and apply grease (Mobil MP) to ensure they remain in excellent working condition.
3. Maintenance and Lubrication of Motor and Reducer
Routinely replace the lubricating oil in the drive reducer (Mobil DTE629) and consistently clean dust from the motor's surface. Avoid using a damp cloth for wiping.
3. Maintenance of Belt
A. As a wear-resistant component, the conveyor belt requires regular cleaning of dirt from its pulleys. Dirt accumulation can cause uneven belt speeds, impacting machine performance and accelerating belt wear.
B. Refrain from spilling lubricating oil or any oily substances on the conveyor belt and pulleys to prevent slippage, which adversely affects machine performance.
4. Other Maintenance
A. Regularly clean the drive shaft, removing oils and dust from the screw rod's surface transversely, then apply engine oil (32#) for proper lubrication.
B. Frequently inspect fastening screws, belts, keys, and other components for any signs of looseness or wear.
C. It's essential to regularly clean the dust from the surface of each machine part, ideally on a daily basis.
